Kent

Client: The Heritage Team

Engineer: The Morton Partnership

Date: 2019

A Grade 1 early C15th Aisled Barn with 14 bays. The barn measures 210ft long and boasts medieval flint plinth walls, oak weather- boarding and a peg tiled hipped roof.

Interior: 14 bays, aisled on both sides, and at each end. The barn was badly fire damaged in 2003 and sadly lost 4 complete bays. Dolmen rebuilt the lost bays, re-roofed the barn with 90,000 Kent peg tiles.

Dolmen worked in collaboration with Historic England, Medway Council and The Morton Partnership.
